Inside Sales Representative

RS Breakers & Controls is an Original Equipment Supplier that provides excellent customer service and customized electrical solutions. We have branches in Mississauga, Saskatoon, and are excited to announce that we have opened a branch in Calgary. Our warehouses stock over 100,000 products, including MCC wrapper/buckets, panel switches, circuit breakers, bus plugs, distribution panel boards, and so much more. We stock products of all amperages and voltages to serve residential, commercial, and industrial needs. We are a fast-growing company, with many advancement opportunities.

The Position:

This is a full-time sales position based at our location in Calgary, Alberta.

Reports to:

This position reports to the Alberta Branch Supervisor and the President of the Company

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sales quotes/sales orders.

• Assist walk-in customers.

• Respond to inbound inquiries (phone and email) and leads promptly and professionally.

• Prepare return merchandise authorization forms (Sales returns).

• Build strong relationships and rapport with customers.

• Actively seek out new clients and other opportunities for growth.

• Use knowledge and training to ensure that the customer gets exactly what they need within their budget, as quickly and easily as possible.

• Provide superior customer service experience.

• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehousing as required.

• Perform appropriate duties, as assigned by management.

• May require travel or site visits.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service or sales role.

• Experience using and maintaining CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central) is preferred.

• Experience generating quotations and cold calling.

• Sales and customer service experience in the electrical industry a definite asset.

• Strong organization and communication skills.

• General computer literacy.

• A valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is an asset.

• A desire to learn and grow within the company through advancement opportunities.
